This short video illustrates the potential and risks of remote viewing technologies in creating interest in labour activities. In this scenario, РАЗНОС is set up as a concept proposal looking at the commercial opportunities of blending ‘work’ and ‘culture’ through online platforms. The city of Magadan is taken as a case study and receives attention for future relations between its existing infrastructures and industries.
Situated on the coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, Magadan is victim of a decreasing population, however its geography and mining activity appear to be essential at a national scale. РАЗНОС looks at the possibilities Magadan could offer in hosting a new community of workers. It explores the use of citizenship as territorial placeholders by creating interests for the Magadan Oblast through social exposure and job opportunities.
